Another headband? Don’t mind if I do

Hello! How is your September going so far? We’re almost at the mid-way point and man am I looking forward to fall! I’ve got pumpkin this and pumpkin that going on in my house, I’m working on some fun Halloween patterns I need to get written up and pictures taken of but I’m all over the place at the moment, mind wise, that I lose track of what I’m working on.

makinology:

here’s an idea …. what to do with yarn ends …. make a ‘yarn bowl’ … (you can also use long strands of one color) … basically it’s using a paper mache glue (mod podge would probably work well too)  & an upside down bowl wrapped in saran wrap or foil as a mold to shape it … soak the yarn ends in glue & shape to the mold … let dry …  ooey glooey crafty fun …

paper mache paste recipe:

Combine ½ cup flour and 2 cups cold water in a bowl.
Boil 2 cups of water in a sauce pan and add the flour and cold water mixture.
Bring to a boil again.
Remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Let cool. The paste will thicken as it cools.
